Nobody seemed to actually notice, but when you clicked on post titles to go to their standalone page, your browser was actually served a 404 error message. It didn't cause issues for graphical browsers, but Lynx would inform you that you got a 404 before displaying the blog post, and I'm sure Googlebot would've ignored all the blog post standalone pages, which is not something I would want.
