A bit of excitement happened today when Apple accidently mentioned an 8-core Mac Pro. It's essentially a given that the Mac Pro will offer 8 cores sooner rather than later, the only question is when. Apple announcements historically fall on Tuesdays, so tomorrow seems like a good candidate. Apple has reportedly had strained supplies of a good number of products (including the black MacBook) recently, which is often an indicator that upgrades are imminent.
I only have three questions. One, if Apple does upgrade products in the very near future, will that include the MacBook? Two, if Apple does unveil upgraded products tomorrow, and this includes the MacBook, did they ship me the new or old version of the MacBook? Three, if upgraded MacBooks go on sale tomorrow, and Apple shipped me the old one, will I be able to painlessly exchange it for the new one?
The anticipation kills.
