A thought about the UK iPhone plan

There was a bit of controversy over the UK iPhone plans in that the unlimited data was subject to a fair use policy wherein you couldn't view more than 1,400 pages a day. In other words, it wasn't actually unlimited.

Now, I imagine that the policy is actually a limit on the amount of data (as in megabytes) that you can download, and the 1,400 page figure is derived from that. That said, going off the 1,400 page figure, that's a bit more than 58 pages an hour, or basically one page a minute. Seeing as this is EDGE we're talking about, it would be very difficult to hit that limit, especially since you would need to be downloading one page a minute every single minute for an entire 24-hour block of time.
