The power just came back on after being off for thirty minutes. What an odd thirty minutes it was. I only realized right then that I had no flashlights anywhere in my apartment, except for my iPhone (which actually performed that task dutifully).
I've got to say, I love having redundant internet access. Since the power outage didn't affect EDGE, I was able to use the interweb doohickey on my iPhone to find the phone number of the power company and call them.
I guess the point of this post is, I love my iPhone.
