I saw a link on Daring Fireball to an app called Opacity a few days ago. After less than an hour of trying it out, I bought it. It's exactly the kind of app I want for the UI work I do. Glass, rounded corners, gradients, drop shadows, it's built specifically for making UI elements. What took hours in GIMP only takes minutes in Opacity. I would know, I remade the UI for Sunset in just a few minutes in Opacity just to try it out.
